Cost

User agencies will be responsible for:

• Commercial wireless subscription cost
• Equipment costs (e.g. handsets, charger units, etc.)
• One time WPS activation cost of no more than $10
• Monthly WPS service feature cost of no more than $4.50
• When WPS is invoked by dialing 272, no more than a 75¢ per minute usage fee (WPS minutes are not charged against your basic service if the WPS service provider charges for WPS usage. WPS providers that do not charge for usage, i.e., Alltel, may charge WPS minutes against your applicable commercial plan. Check with your service provider for details)
• WPS charges are in addition to your commercial plan and other feature, toll, and special service charges
• WPS charges are payable directly to the cellular provider as a component of the basic service plan.

NCS will continue to pay for the WPS infrastructure enhancements.
